One life event that will make a woman truly happy is the day she marries. During her wedding day, a woman vows to be with the man of her choosing through all of life’s trials and challenges, and she bravely treads on a new and unknown path. To celebrate this momentous day further, a wedding reception is held after the ceremony. During the time, the guests are privileged to hear a wedding speech from the bride. Here is an example.

A great way to begin your speech would be something along these lines: “A pleasant afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to our wedding reception! I am very happy to see your faces gathered here today to help us celebrate this wonderful moment of our lives. Besides, a wedding wouldn’t be as memorable and as meaningful without family, relatives, and good friends to share it with. And so, I thank you on behalf of my husband. Thank you for supporting and encouraging us. Your support and words of encouragement greatly helped us get to this point. Thank you for assisting us with the preparations for the wedding. We couldn’t have made it without you. Thank you for being here.”

As you have noticed, this part of your speech should be as warm, sincere, and pleasant as possible. In addition, it should entice the guests to listen and to pay attention. After that introduction, proceed with your speech saying, “A wedding is the time to bask in the happiness of finding the man whom you choose to love forever and to spend the rest of your life with. You can just imagine how truly euphoric and thrilled I feel right now. The magic of being one with the man with whom you share your soul is just so intense that I cannot fully explain it. All I know is that I am blessed for having this guy to love and to love me back.”

“And so, dear husband, I thank you. Thank you for loving me and for allowing me to love you in the best way I know how. My promise to you is that I won’t leave your side and that I will forever cherish you.”

“With that being said, I now propose a toast. To me and my wonderful groom. To our marriage. To a kind of magic that lasts.”
